Cheese, Raw Unsalted: VonderKurds

This is 1 pound of VonderKurds that is raw, unsalted cheese from HFPMA Orthomolecular Garden Ministry.  It takes over 1 1/4 gallons (2.5 half gallon jars) of our nutritious Single-Moo™ Milk to make just 1 pound of this delicious cheese.

 

There is a stage in our Mozzarella making process where the curds are raw and unsalted. They have never exceeded 100 degrees farenheit. At this stage , they can be packed as raw, unsalted cheese for people or pets who are on raw food diets, like the Primal Diet, promoted by Aajonus Vonderplanitz.

 

Amazingly, you can use VonderKurds to stretch your own fresh Mozzarella and then you can use that to make a Caprese salad with tomatoes and basil, or you can put it right on Pizza, Lasagna, and other foods that use Mozzarella. It's the best Mozzarella when you stretch it yourself right before you eat it, and it's easy. Here's a video showing how we make Mozzarella from VonderKurds.

 

Unlike ALL commercially-available cheeses (and many homemade cheeses), no GMO rennet, cultures, or enzymes are ever used in our cheeses.

  • About our Cheese Ingredients

    We use only our own whole raw grassfed Jersey milk, and our own native cultures from the farm in all of our cheeses. We use natural calf rennet and non-iodized flaked cheese salt. No added enzymes, no calcium chloride, no coloring agents or anything else.  Everything we need to make the best cheeses you've ever tasted are right in the milk.
